Opposites Interactive Book #2
This Basic Concepts Interactive Book is a great way to teach qualitative concepts and descriptive terms through opposite pairs in an adorable kid theme!
Concepts targeted:
happy/sad
long/short
sitting/standing
tall/short
thin/thick
loud/quiet
light/heavy
young/old
wet/dry
Even though this book was created to target opposites, it is also great for targeting other early language skills, such as sentence structure, WH questions, pronouns, possessives & many other receptive and expressive language skills!
This book is interactive in a very unique way – it does not require any laminating, cutting, or Velcro. An original coloring page is included with the book. Give this page to your student(s) before reading the book. The students choose which concept they want to color from each page in the book, locate it on this page, and color.
